Broadway was back in business Thursday as the 19-day strike ends. Stagehands and theater producers reached a tentative settlement late Wednesday. Theatre goers and tourists lined up in the cold to get themselves tickets to the reopened theatres of Broadway.
Everyone affected by strike - actors, stagehands, business, tourists are all excited for the theatre industry to resume. The strike has caused a loss of significant business estimated at $38 million.
Most plays and musicals are expected to reopen Thursday.
