The Where When Project is an endeavor to create the most comprehensive calendar of current & future events and venues in the U.S.

What is an Event?  The following are its criteria:

  1. Held in an actual physical location
  2. Have definite start and end dates
  3. May require payment/purchase of tickets, and/or be free of charge to participants.
  4. A minimum of 10 persons must be able to participate (hence, a one-on-one date is not considered an event).
  5. Must be open to the general public, with a few considerations:
  6. Age appropriate: Some events may not be appropriate for children or those under 21 years of age.
  7. Gender based: Some events may only be applicable to women, i.e. “Women’s night out”

The Where When Project does not allow events that:

  • Discriminate against any race, religion, sexual orientation, or political beliefs.
  • Are illegal.
  • Are virtual or online.
